BOO-Tacular at Chuck.E. Cheese

2020 has been a whirlwind of happenings and it seems like little by little we trying to find some normalcy. Let me tell you, our kiddos are OVER IT. I decided this year HALLOWEEN will not be cancelled. Chuck E. Cheese is doing a little more this year to ensure all kids can enjoy Halloween this year. I went over the weekend to see what safety measures they have implemented and to check out the new Halloween menu items. The kids were so excited and I myself had so much fun.

Now through November 1st, Chuck E. Cheese is having a Halloween BOO-Tacular event.

Friday and Saturday nights enjoy DJ Munch’s Glow Party!

First things First, SAFETY!

When you get to CEC they do a temperature check and instead of a stamp to ensure you are arriving and leaving as a family now there’s a "Kid Check Selfie" that will be taken. Grab your phone, get together, and SELFIE! When you are ready to leave, you show the entrance host your selfie and this shows you are leaving with YOUR kiddos. This is honestly a genius idea that I hope they keep. We all wore our masks, which is required here in Houston.

Hand sanitizing stations accessible throughout the play and dining areas

Additional Safety measures CEC has put in place;

  • In-store contactless payments and online ordering available for carryout

  • Installing upgraded hospital-grade air-filters at each of our open locations

  • Limited capacity in each location; all entertainment is produced and hosted for the safest experience possible with all social distancing guidelines met

Additionally, to enhance guest safety and ensure a more touchless experience, the brand recently launched e-tickets, eliminating paper tickets and the Ticket Muncher. Instead, guests can see all of their e-tickets earned through their play card and can easily claim individually-wrapped prizes at the Gift Shop.

If you come dressed in your Costume or purchase a 30-minute All You Can Play Card, will receive a free treat bag filled with candy, stickers and other fun surprises.

CEC SPOOKY MENU ITEMS

CEC has a fun Halloween themed menu the entire family can enjoy. We ordered a Pumpkin-shaped Pepperoni Pizza featuring the friendliest Jack-O-lantern smile and it sure did make us smile. I have always been a fan of Chuck E. Cheese’s pizza. Funny story, while pregnant with Eli I CRAVED CEC pizza daily. I would go at least once a week and order myself a personal pizza to satisfy my pregnancy cravings.

You know I am a fan of SWEETS and these spooky treats did not disappoint. On the Spooky treats menu you can get:

  • Dippin' Dots® Eye Scream with gummy worms

  • Boo-tacular Oreo® Brownie that's dangerously delish

Also available:

  • Candy Corn-Colored Orange Cotton Candy

  • Not-so-Scary Chuck E. Cheese Halloween Theme Kids Masks available for sale individually or with the Halloween Boo-tacular Bundle

AT-HOME: Bring the Halloween Fun Home with KIDZ BOP®

The kids had fun, we had fun, and we got to enjoy being out of the house without feeling uneasy. I was happy to see and experience all of the safety measures they have put in place and was impressed how well the kids did with keeping their masks on and washing their hands.

Whatever you decide to do just know you have many options this Halloween season. You can do as little or as much as you want. Regardless of what you do I am wishing you a wonderful Halloween full of Treats!
