Cocktail & Mocktail Quarantine Summer
Just because we can’t have cocktails at a bar or on a patio does not mean summer is cancelled. I Have created 10 cocktails for you to make at home to enjoy pool side, or at home while binge watching netflix shows!
frozen Watermelon Gin Fizz
Ingredients
3 ounces watermelon juice (Use seedless watermleon)
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce lime juice
2 ounces ginger ale
In a blender mix chunks of watermelon ( I cut up my watermelon into some cubes and used about 10-12 pieces) add 2 oz of gin, 2/3 oz of lime juice, add 2 ox of ginger ale & add one cup of ice and blend.
Pour into your glass and garnish with a watermelon slice
** to make it as a mocktail, don’t add gin**
The Salty dog
Ingredients
2 Oz. Gin or Vodka
4 Oz. Grapefruit juice
Salt For the rim
Lemon or lime or grapefruit As a garnish
In a shaker add ice, 2 oz of gin or vodka, 4 oz of grapefruit juice, a pinch of salt and shake for 30 seconds.
Salt the rim of your glass, pour in your drink, add ice and garnish with your choice of fruits.
* this can be made without liquor*
Rasberry Moscow Mule
Ingredients
Fresh (or frozen) raspberries
2-3 Fresh limes
2 oz Vodka
4 oz Ginger beer
Muddle (aka smush) 10 raspberries, squeeze 2 limes, add 2 oz of vodka, and shake into a shaker for 30 seconds. Strain it into a copper mug if you have one, add ice and then top it off with 4 oz of ginger beer (add less if you aren’t a ginger beer fan) garnish with raspberries and a mint leaf.
**Ginger beer is non-alcoholic so you can make this as a mocktail with all the ingredients just don’t add vodka.**
I recommend Q mixers which can be found at target or your local grocery store in the section where you have mixers.
Tequila Sunrise
Ingredients
2 ounces Tequila
4 ounces orange juice
1/2 ounce grenadine syrup
Orange slice/wheel
Maraschino cherries ( these are usually found near the baking ingredients)
In a shaker add 2 oz of tequila and 4 oz of orange juice add ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain/Pour into your glass, add ice and add grenadine (not too much but enough for your liking) Garnish with an orange wheel and a couple of cherries.
* this can be made without liquor*
agalima margarita
Ingredients
5 oz Agalima Organic Margarita Mix
2 oz Premium Tequila
Combine ingredients in a shaker with add ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into a glass ( I found my margarita glasses at dollar tree) add ice and garnish with fresh lime.
Grapefruit Bourbon Smash Cocktail
Ingredients
1 sugar cube
2 medium-large mint leaves
1/8 wedge fresh grapefruit (each 1/2 cut in 4 pieces)
2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
2 oz bourbon
In a shaker, muddle grapefruit, mint, and sugar cube. Add grapefruit juice, bourbon, and about 1/4 cup of ice. Shake for about 30 seconds. Pour the cocktail into glass and top with crushed ice. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a mint leaf.

blueberry mojito
Ingredients
1 cup fresh blueberries plus more for garnish
10-12 fresh mint leaves plus more for garnish
½ lime cut into wedges, plus more for garnish
1 ounce simple syrup or 2 teaspoons sugar
1 ½ ounces lime juice freshly squeezed
4 ounces white rum
Sparkling water or club soda
In a shaker, muddle 2/3 of a cup with blueberries, a sugar cube, and half a lime and mint. Muddle, muddle, muddle! After you muddle add simple syrup, white rum, and shake it up. Pour it into a glass, add crushed ice, add club soda to top it off. Garnish with a blueberry, mint, and lime.

lemon lavender
Ingredients
1.5 oz of Vodka
1.5 oz of Lemon Lavender simple syrup from The Traveling Spirit Bar
Club Soda
In a shaker add vodka, lemon lavender simple syrup add ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into your glass (this martini glass is from dollar tree) top off with club soda. If you want to impress your friends you can garnish with a lemon or lemon zest.
Grapefruit Rose
Ingredients
1.5 oz of Gin or Tequila
1.5 oz of Grapefruit Rose simple syrup from The Traveling Spirit Bar
Club Soda
In a shaker add gin or tequila and grapefruit rose simple syrup add ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into your glass (this martini glass is from dollar tree) top off with club soda.
Strawberry Basil
1.5 oz of Rum or Tequila
1.5 oz of Strawberry Basil simple syrup from The Traveling Spirit Bar
Club Soda
In a shaker add white rum or tequila and strawberry basil simple syrup add ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into your glass (this martini glass is from dollar tree) top off with club soda. Garnish with a strawberry.
